Winery

A domain, an history

Located a few kilometers from Saint-Emilion, Château de Môle is situated on a perfectly drained, clay-limestone plateau. Our vineyards benefit from a south / south-east exposure, a dry and luminous microclimate which facilitates a good maturity of our grapes.
Before it was acquired by the present owner the Auger family, Château de Môle had been owned by the same family since the 18th century.

Wines

On the estate, we produce 2 great red wines, Château de Môle and Roc Saint-Jacques in the purest style of Saint-Emilion wines.
The grapes used are Merlot (85% ), Cabernets-Franc ( 10%) and Cabernets-Sauvignon (5% ).
The AUGER family who owns Château de Môle since 2006, has invested heavily in the property to produce high quality wines.

Wine cellar

Our cellar, built in stone and dug in the rock, is entirely underground and can accommodate upt to 180 barrels.
Thanks to a natural ventilation and an underground well which brings the necessary humidity, the wines of the Château de Mole can age and improve in the best possible conditions.
